RanTaku is the romantic relationship between Shindou Takuto and Kirino Ranmaru from the Inazuma Eleven GO series. It is one of the most popular pairings in the fandom.

Inazuma Eleven Go[]
Shindou and Kirino first appears as players on Raimon's main football team. Shindou is the captain and Kirino is one of the defenders. They have to defend their role to not be replaced by the Kuro no Kishidan. Unfortunately, they are losing the match. But Matsukaze Tenma, a freshman who was beginning his first day at Raimon, arrives on the field, and tries to keep the ball so no one gets hurt.
After the Kuro no Kishidan attacked Tenma, Shindou tries to convince the newcomer to give up. But the latter says words that give the captain hope. And to everyone's surprise, he ends up awakening his Fighting Spirit, Sousha Maestro, for the first time. Being furious, he doesn't listen and tries to confront Tsurugi Kyousuke, the SEED that came here to replace them all. But the Kuro no Kishidan (including Kyousuke) all retreat. Shindou faints shortly after.
Later, Shindou wakes up in a bed, with Kirino by his side. He asks what happened. Kirino tells him. Shindou tries to go find Kyousuke, but Kirino stops him, telling him that he's worried about him taking too much pressure.
Later, they are both in the football club. While most players and all the managers leaves, Shindou has to pretend that he's fine with it.
After the team's coach, Kudou Michiya, is forced to resign, Shindou decides to not go to training. Kirino comes to visit to tell him what is new. He says that their new coach is the legendary Mark Evans, the founder and original captain of Raimon's football club.
Inazuma Eleven Go Chrono Stone[]
Kirino is jealous of Shindou's newfound powers. He doesn't accept not being on the same level anymore. When Endou Daisuke chooses who will be part of the journey to medieval France, Kirino isn't chosen. But Kariya fakes being sick in order to let Kirino join instead. During their adventure in France, Shindou notices that something is wrong with Kirino while they're talking to Joan of Arc.
Inazuma Eleven Go Galaxy[]
Kirino is shocked to learn that he wasn't chosen to be a member of the Japanese National Team, Inazuma Japan. But he still encourages the three members of Raimon who were selected (Shindou being one of them). When he realizes that the team isn't exactly on national level, he shows concerns about Shindou's feelings.
When the Earth Eleven are sent to space, Kirino shows some encouragements from Earth.
